Greenery is the Color of the Year, and that means if you’re dedicated to staying on-trend, you’ll want to incorporate the color in your home decor this year.

Depending on your tastes, it may feel like quite the challenge to figure out how to incorporate a bright color into your home’s decor. Don’t worry, we’ve come up with some ways that will help you blend this natural color right in to your home!

Here are three alternative ways to use the color green in your home:

1. Use floor plants – The most traditional way to go about incorporating green into your home is by using floor plants. You can set them by the window so when the sun finally decides to peak its head back out they’ll get plenty of Vitamin D to grow! If you’re not a live plant person, or struggle to keep them alive, opt for faux plants for a look that’s just as fab!

2. Commit to accessories – If you’re using green in your home but don’t want to commit to painting an entire wall green, stick with accessories. Because green is a huge color trend this year you won’t have any trouble finding green accessories like pillows, picture frames, candles, and much more!

3. Mix-n-match – One of the easiest way to use the color green is to mix and match it with other colors. Patterns are a big home decor trend for 2017, so by using green patterns mixed with other complimentary colors you’ll be knocking out two trendy looks with one stone.
