The holidays are officially here! And you know what that means! It’s party time! The holidays are our favorite time of the year because we have tons of excuses to hang out with friends and family – and eat a lot of food!
Here are some tips to help you out:
1. Make a list: We’re list people! Any time we have something to do or plan, we make a list. A list is the best way to help you plan for your holiday party without a lot of stress. Of course things will likely pop up along the way, but as long as you have a list of what you need, what you need to do, etc., you’ll be able to handle it!
2. Prep and stock: When it comes to preparing food for your holiday party, do as much as you can ahead of time. That means cooking what you can a few days before the party – especially soups and stews because you can store them in the freezer and simply heat them up the day of the party. As for snacks, like crackers, stock up on them! You don’t want to run out so make sure you have what you think you’ll need and then some! Make sure you do the same for drinks, too! You don’t want to have to send your husband out to the store in the middle of the party because you ran out of drinks!
3. Decorate: Guests will really remember your party when you decorate it for the holidays! You don’t need to go over the top but try out some wreaths, big bows, and garland inside your home. Adding some lights to the outside of your home will not only helps guests find your home, but will give a little added holiday touch and get your guests in the holiday spirit!
