This summer, “Outdoor Living” will take on a totally new meaning. With many restaurants still closed, Vacations and Events cancelled and Summer Camps on hold, we will be using our homes and backyards as a vacation resort, getaway or event venue. So, while summer is still on the horizon, take some time to create a space that is fresh, new and inviting.
It doesn’t matter if you have a deck, patio or porch; each of these spaces can all take on the look and feel of a new place to escape. Start by taking some time to look through magazines and online at Pinterest or Vacation Resort destinations that inspire you or simply make you smile and then recreate that feeling in your outdoor living space. It may be a color that you are drawn to in the pillows, cushions or umbrellas, maybe a water feature is what makes you feel relaxed or simply the flowers that were used in the space make you smile. Just a few changes to your existing space will make it new and refreshing and don’t we all need that now!
Get outside and take a breath of fresh air and remember – this too shall pass!
