I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and am proud to be a native to such an amazing place. I graduated from UC Berkeley in the mid 90’s, at a time when the tech boom was starting in the area. I was swept up in the excitement…joining several large and start-up companies in tech for 15 years. During this time I built my career in managing large Fortune 500 events, marketing, customer success programs, and product management.
Biography
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and am proud to be a native to such an amazing place. I graduated from UC Berkeley in the mid 90’s, at a time when the tech boom was starting in the area. I was swept up in the excitement…joining several large and start-up companies in tech for 15 years. During this time I built my career in managing large Fortune 500 events, marketing, customer success programs, and product management.
After the birth of my third child in 2010, I decided to leave the corporate work place behind in order to give full attention to my home life. During this time, I took on a variety of remodel projects as a personal interest. Some were for my own home, and some were for family and friends. I truly enjoyed the entire process of selecting materials, colors, finishes, managing the project/vendors, and seeing our vision come to life. The thought of starting my own interior decorating business had been in the back of my mind for some time, but it was the combination of these projects that led me to my new career, and forming Simply Situated Interiors.
