Pink is romantic – and strong! Use it as a neutral in your color palettes and it creates a sophisticated vibe with a dash of mod. And it does all this quietly with a hint of romance and a splash of sex appeal.

What makes this pink (Rose Quartz) rise above 1,000s of colors and become Color of the Year?
First, it is one of 2 colors chosen as Color(s) of the Year. Serenity is the second color. The choice of 2 colors is a reflection of our culture and it showcases the equitable balance between male and female roles: Think gender neutral and Caitlyn Jenner.
But this isn’t your average pink. It is balanced with black, gray, beige, and camouflage green (how macho).
