Pantone gave us a softer outlook on color when it selected two colors (for the first time!), Rose Quartz and Serenity, as the Colors of the Year. Because many people live busy lives, it seems like we’re on a mission help us deal with everyday issues.

“As consumers seek mindfulness and well-being as an antidote to modern day stresses, welcoming colors that psychologically fulfill our yearning for reassurance and security are becoming more prominent,” Pantone said in its annual Color of the Year release.

Rose Quartz is also the perfect color to use in your home design during the month of February. With Valentine’s Day coming up, you can add little pops of this feminine pink without going too bold with red. The colors will make you feel calm and comfortable as you seek to enjoy a special night with your partner.

Cheers to the Colors of the Year, Rose Quartz and Serenity!
