Biography
I have been lucky enough to have enjoyed not just one, but two enjoyable and exciting careers.
After pursuing a 25 year career in advertising from Michigan to Los Angles, it was time for a change.
After leaving Los Angeles and moving to New Jersey in 2005, I was intrigued in attending courses offered by The Decorating and Staging Academy (DSA). This is where I obtained a full certification in real estate staging, color consulting and redesign. I enjoyed every aspect of these three courses and knew this was my calling. Starting my business in New Jersey in 2006 and moving back to Los Angeles in 2011 creating “Decorating the South Bay. Once back in Los Angles, this is where my business truly excelled, specializing in staging and launching “Staging by Nikki.”
My true passions is real estate staging!
I feel there is nothing more gratifying then helping homeowners and realtors enhance their properties, creating new spaces for potential buyers to imagine their own lives in.
Home staging is the act of preparing a home for sale in the real estate marketplace. The goal of staging is to make a home appealing to the highest number of potential buyers, thereby selling a property more swiftly and for more money. Staging techniques focus on improving a property’s appeal by transforming it into a welcoming, attractive product that anyone might want.
